The Uganda Skateboard Union managing director Mr. Mubiru Jackson visited Germany for the second time! Since 6th -10-2014. He went back on 25th -01- 2020. This time, it was special invitation for the two projects ( Union X SkateAid ) in order to see the two partners can promote art and culture in Skateboarding in East Africa & other parts of Africa.
After Jackson’s in visitation from Europe, he went straight away connects to Southern Africa down towards Namibia. The Capital City Windhoek. Skate Aid Namibia is a project which helps special needs like Sign language, Deaf & Albinos kids in schools of Namibia!
Skate Aid Uganda & International Collaboration Society E.v, are the two officials Germany projects partners of the Uganda Skateboard Union, Working together with other local Sponsors like Afri-Cans Street Art Festival, and sponsors like Viva Con Agua Kampala, Banakibuga Street Mind, Red bull-Uganda.
The U.S.U project, together with our partnership, decided to pass a massage to the people of Uganda. Awareness in Kampala & other parts (Kitintale Community) by painting walls with Graffiti indicating prevention of epidemic out break!
Corona Virus disorganized everything in the all world! In Uganda, the first quarantine took place for 30 days and people where not supposed to work, walking, Driving cars, to keep inside the house & Curfew was in action, all activates were prohibited in Uganda! Our government provided food to the people of Uganda in order to stay away from hunger! Than you the government of Uganda!
The COVID 19 pandemic sabotaged people’s plans! In Uganda including our project “The Uganda Skateboard Union”. We post-ponded our programs of extension Construction which was likely to start in the first week of March to June2020
In January 2021, The Uganda Skateboard Union together with SkateAid to widen Kitintale Skate Park extension for enough space for kids to Skate! This time, the extension is going to be in form of a bowl. It’s going to be the first bowl in Uganda. Skate-aid empowered this project together with the Uganda Skateboard Union! Epidemic virus was the challenges, which made our plans of extension exercise to delay, Specialized Engineers from Germany, Spain and others, where cancel measures to enter Uganda for that epidemic diseases disturbs the world!
