The first Skull Bowl in Uganda!!

On March 3 – 2021, Skate-Aid international send donation to the Uganda Skateboard Union. Skateboard Equipment’s like Helmets, Skateboard decks, Knee pads plus Elbow pads, Wheels, Shoes, Santa Cruz      T-Shirts, Bearings, Grip tapes Etc. The management of the Uganda Skateboard Union appreciates a lot to Skate Aid International for being a grateful partnership to the Union!         

On March 10th /2021, Skate-Aid programs of constructing a skull bowl started by the specialist from different Countries, Gabriel Santos (Skate-Aid Coordinator Africa) FROM Spain, Kyryl “KIKI “Baranov Skate-Aid volunteer from Russia and Hurney Boardstein from Germany. Those special engineers came to support the Uganda Skateboard Union. On 14th /03/2021. Construction of the first Skull bowl in Uganda started & youth in Kitintale Communities includes Skaters of the Union participated in construction of skull bowl at Kitintale Skate park. The skull bowl was constructed in two months & on 12/06/2021 was the official opening of the Skull Bawl in Uganda! Skate Aid managements including Mr. Titus Dittmann (Skate-Aid founder/ Chairman Titus Dittmann Foundation & Social Entrepreneur) plus Maik Giersch (CEO Skate-Aid support) represented on the official opening in Kampala Uganda.

On 23 March 2021. The Union Up lifting youth Centre project was also started in the sometime. International Collaboration Society (ICS) together in partnership with the Uganda Skateboard Union, made it to the youth in the Communities of Kitintale where by youth will be creative to make their own art & craft designs, Computer training skills to youth in the Communities of Kitintale. This Up lifting Centre will help a lot to youth by keeping them busy 24 hours.

On 06th /08/2021, the Ambassador of France in Uganda (H.E Jules-Armand ANIAMBOSSOU). Invited the managing director of the Uganda Skateboard Union (Mr. Mubiru Jackson) at the state house at Nakasero. The meeting of the two people went on well & to see how Skateboarding culture can be improved in Uganda. H.E Jules-Armand Aniamossou, he promised to support youth centers together with the government of Uganda & France government.

On 27th/08/2021, H.E Jules-Armand ANIAMBOSSOU. He was interested visited The Uganda Skateboard Union project in Kitintale Skate Park Zone 12. Mayor Mugambe Paul of Nakawa Division Constituencies, Mr. Walusimbi Moses Councilor LC 3 Mutungo IV & Nadawula Godfrey Chairman L. C 1 Zone 12. Welcomed H.E in their happiness areas of the Communities in Kitintale zone 12.

Finally, The Uganda Skateboard Union together with Skate-Aid international, made it to Uganda to have a first Skull Bowl & is the deepest Skull Bowl in East Africa in depth & widely in sizes.

This skull Bowl project, it works 2 in 1 ( Skating inside & Swimming ) as you can see Union kids having joy in it. So, The Uganda Skateboard Management would like to advise Ugandans or other Countries to build Swimming pool and the sometime a skating place as you can see a massive happiness with the Union kids at Kitintale Skate Park.

This Skull Bowl is the first of its kind in Uganda, Why is it called a Skull Bowl? its because, it looks like a Human-Skull…and its a reason why is known as a Skull Bowl. very common in Europe, U.S.A and other Countries, but not too much in Africa.

On 23 March 2021. The Union Up Refitting youth Center project was also started in the sometime. . This Up Refitting Center will help a lot the youth by keeping them busy 24 hours at the Uganda Skateboard Union (Kitintale Skate Park).

The Up-Refitting Center will curry out its self by keeping up the youth in Kitintale Communities busy busy through learning different activities.

Showroom for our youth products, they have been made at the Uganda Skateboard Union during their free time at the skate park, will be displayed inside, and other activities will take place inside that project.

Mr Jackson Mubiru / the Managing director of The Uganda Skateboard Union and Cynthia Kemigisha, the marketing manager of the Union, where invited at the state house at Nakasero and they discussed a lot how the sport of Skateboarding can be improved in Uganda!

The Ambassador of France in Uganda (H.E Jules-Armand ANIAMBOSSOU). he could was interested to visit The Uganda Skateboard Union at Kitintale skate Park to witness how this project was successful since 2005 and its still active supporting youth in different activities.

On 27th/08/2021, H.E Jules-Armand ANIAMBOSSOU. He sent his deputy to represent him to see the Uganda Skateboard Union project at Kitintale skate park.

The of Nakawa Division Constituencies Mr. Mugambe Paul, Mr. Walusimbi Moses area Councilor LC 3 Mutungo IV & Mr. Nadawula Godfrey Chairman L. C 1 Zone 12. Welcomed the deputy ambassador in their happiness areas of the Communities in Kitintale zone 12.

The Ambassador of France in Uganda (H.E Jules-Armand ANIAMBOSSOU), to keep the friendship of between the government of France and the Uganda Skateboard Union, the ambassador brought Mr. Marko 93. He is international graffiti artist from France and painted our new Skate-Aid Skull Bowl as you can see the beauty.

The international graffiti artist in France Mr. Marko 93 and together with our lacal Ugandan like , Zession who is super tough in Uganda , Rach , Skoolboy , Texus, Humuza Tipzy painted the skull bowl to support Marko 93

The skull bowl was constructed in two months & on 12/06/2021 was the official opening of the Skull Bawl in Uganda! Mr. Jackson Mubiru the Managing Director/ and his among the founder of the Uganda Skateboard Union, together with Mr. Titus Dittimann the Chairman of Skate-Aid international and the headquarters are in Germany Munster. Both of these guys at least managed to promote skateboarding in East Africa.

Our passion with Mr. Titus, is to see how to empower youth across boards in African skateboarding.
